One woman’s symptoms were so severe that she needed hospitalization. The exact cause of their symptoms is unclear. There is speculation about some chemical agent or “weapon” being used. The illnesses only affected one small group on stage during the Trump rally. The second group on stage sat on the opposite side of Trump, who was in the center. They were not affected.
