Ana Kasparian of The Young Turks alternative news platform recently expressed why she thinks taxation is theft. The phrase “taxation is theft” is often used among Libertarian and conservative political circles who believe the Government should not take so much of their hard-earned money, if at all. This phrase is frequently directed at the Federal Government more than anything else. As a well-documented far-leftist, she would not usually say such a thing. After all, Ana and The Young Turks heavily supported the elderly taxaholic Senator Bernie Sanders during his Presidential campaigns. However, the US Government’s actions have made Ana rethink some of her political stances.
