The overall tone of the 13-minute segment was positive and optimistic. Maher tapes his show in front of a live audience, and they appeared a little nervous to cheer or react positively to positive news about Trump. Maher hasn’t been the best friend to Trump or the MAGA movement over the years, so to see such a positive review of this meeting was somewhat stunning, to say the least.
