California Governor Gavin Newsom $150k For Illegal Alien Homeowners Bill

California’s “Dream For All” loan program was set to be extended to “undocumented migrants” until it was vetoed by Governor Gavin Newsom. The already-existing taxpayer-funded program assists California citizens with down payment costs of up to $150,000. Many lawmakers in the Golden State thought that it made sense to give this same opportunity to illegal aliens or “undocumented” migrants. The messaging is confusing, though. News reports say that a social security number would be required to be eligible for such funding. If a person has a social, then they should be documented. If the program is to be extended to “undocumented” migrants, then they would not have a social.

Newsom most likely saw that obvious flaw and the political implications of such a thing during election time and decided that it was best not to go forward. There is also the prevailing thought that Newsom will soon position himself for a presidential run by presenting himself as a moderate Democrat.
