A long list of celebrities have headed for the exit from Twitter/X due to issues they have with Elon Musk. Don Lemon, Jamie Lee Curtis, Joy Reid, and others have all left the platform with published announcements. Reid & Lemon actually cut videos about the subject to explain why they left. For Don Lemon, he says the platform is no longer about free speech although Elon Musk said it would be. Joy Reid makes it plain that she is leaving because of Elon. Reid attempted to downplay the wildly-popular social media platform. However, she had to admit that she often used it to read news and check up on the events of the day. Jamie Lee Curtis was not as straightforward as Lemon or Reid, simply posting a quote on Instagram alongside a picture of her account termination.
