Elon Musk fired off a series of posts on X/Twitter after President Trump responds to his criticism of the “Big, Beautiful Bill”. Many conservative pundits and citizens immediately went to disavowing Musk while some defended his actions. Musk has all but disavowed the President, even alleging that he is mentioned in the Epstein Files and that’s why they haven’t come out. All of this drama, unfolding mostly from Musk on social media, started when Musk criticized the Government spending bill. Trump later responded to this criticism when asked by a reported. Trump stated that he was disappointed in Elon, especially since much of the bill was known to Elon for quite a long time. Trump also mentioned that Elon started behaving differently toward the bill once the multi-billion-dollar Electric Vehicle (EV) subsidy was removed. Musk denies his current meltdown is related to that, although he did mention the presence of untouched oil and gas subsidies, maybe considering that unfair.
