Former USAID Employees Complain About Losing Their Jobs On CBS 60 Minutes

Former USAID employees appeared on CBS 60 Minutes to speak about their last days in office after being fired upon the inauguration of President Donald Trump. Nearly 8,000 employees in total were told to leave the building as USAID has essentially been shut down. One of the fired employees lamented about how people knew where their next paycheck was going to come from, and now they don’t know much of anything. This is a misrepresentation of reality, at best, due to the highly publicized severance package that they were all offered. All federal employees were given the option to resign and receive their full payment as if they were still working throughout September of this year.

Elon Musk’s DOGE oversight committee has found over $38 billion dollars of waste, fraud, and abuse so far. This tremendous number is often downplayed by the mainstream media as being less than 1% of the total United States budget. What the media and leftist politicians don’t say about that $38 billion is what the money was spent on, such as trifling with foreign elections in places like Cyprus.
