Hillary Clinton made a stunning suggestion about Trump supporters and “MAGA Republicans” during a CNN interview. She suggested that in order for these people to get “beyond” Trump, maybe there should be some sort of re-education or deprogramming. Her rationale is that “MAGA Republicans” are so far gone, willing to do anything that Donald Trump says, that they need to be released from his spell in order for the Republican Party to move forward. This is oddly reminiscent of the Communist regimes of the past. Presently, China is reeducating its Uyghur Muslim population in the far-western reaches of the country.
