United States Secretary of State Marco Rubio perfectly explained the Trump administration policy of deporting activists. Rumeysa Ozturk, a 30-year-old PhD student at Tufts University from Turkey, was taken into ICE custody after writing a pro-Palestine op-ed. Ozturk has not been charged with a crime but her F1 Visa has been revoked. The administration has made it clear that anti-American, pro-terrorists, and antisemitic people here in the United States as guests will be removed. There are about 300 other individuals with cases similar to hers… activists and other potentially destabilizing people.
