Maryland residents were interviewed by Jesse Watters Primetime about the “mistakenly” deported MS13 gang member, Kilmar Abrego Garcia. This issue has become a political football for the left, as several sitting members of Congress in the United States have travelled to El Salvador in an attempt to get Abrego Garcia released from the infamous CECOT prison. Their argument is that he was deported without proper due process, so the way to correct this wrong is by retrieving him from El Salvador so he could get deported again, just through the proper channels.
Many Americans do not see the point of this. It is viewed as a waste of taxpayer money and a way to try and attack the Trump administration. This mindset was perfectly highlighted by interviewing regular people on the ground in Baltimore, Maryland. This location is important because Chris Van Hollen was the first member of Congress to travel to El Salvador for Abrego Garcia. Van Hollen is a sitting US Senator from Maryland.
