SNL star Chloe Fineman says Elon Musk made her and other cast members burst into tears before he hosted the show in 2021. The way SNL works is that they rehearse sketches for a week leading up to the Saturday Night Live show in New York City. Fineman says that she worked on the sketch that featured him all night before presenting to him at a table read. He took a look at her and sternly said “this is not funny.” She described the look he gave her as if he was going to fire her from TESLA.
Ironically enough, Fineman’s imitation of Elon during the now-deleted TikTok video was funnier than her sketch with him. Her video was also funnier than the reincarnation of Dana Carvey attempting to mock his recent behavior on stage with Trump. The fact that so many cast members cried over constructive criticism points toward a reason why the show has become unwatchable. A bunch of spoiled crybabies in their 30s who are more concerned with far-left political activism than being funny.
