An unhinged professor was arrested during a pro-Palestine protest at the University of California at Irvine. The woman’s name is reportedly Dr. Tiffany Willoughby-Herard, a tenured professor. She screamed at cameras during her arrest, saying that all of the resources dedicated to bringing police to the campus could have been diverted to benefit the students in the form of scholarships and housing. The professor and many protesters say their protest was “peaceful.” However, footage of the incident says otherwise. Buildings on campus were taken over, and encampments were constructed outside the buildings. Protesters set up barricades with scraps of trash and other items, including steel dividers.
