Four children between the ages of 5 and 10 were found in a cramped back room of a squalid apartment surrounded by drugs and a dead body. Authorities were alerted to the project apartment building in South Boston after a transgender woman lost consciousness. Upon arriving at the residence, authorities were prevented from entering by six adult males who appeared to be wearing women’s clothing. Ultimately, the transgender person was found in the home, dead, most likely suffering from a drug overdose. Drugs, drug paraphernalia, and sex toys were everywhere.
The back room of this apartment is where four young children were found. One of the cross-dressing males found at the hoarder-like project apartment said he was the father of these children. Someone else, or the father, attempted to hide these children. A foul stench and complete filth were present in the very small space the children were huddled up in. These children were immediately taken away by the Department of Children’s Services. It is not clear who these children belong to although one of the men did claim them. What is clear, however, is that these children should have never been in such a dangerous and disgusting place.
