NYC Drag March Says “Coming For Your Children” Remark Was Taken Out Of Context

Brian Griffin, the original organizer of the NYC Drag March, says the “we’re coming for your children” remark was taken out of context. A video from the 2023 Drag March went viral due to a chant that was happening. People in the video apparently said, “we’re here, we’re queer, we’re coming for your children.” This, of course feeds into the conversation about certain members of the LGBT community “grooming” the younger generation. Brian Griffin attempted to squash this line of thinking by saying that the chant is common at LGBTQ events and is used to “poke fun” at those who are against their movement. Although Griffin wants the general public to believe that the chant is unserious… there is a treasure trove of evidence that may point toward the contrary.
