Republican Florida House Rep. Byron Donalds appeared on the very leftist radio show, The Breakfast Club. DJ Envy, Charlamagne Da God, and Angela Rye were the show hosts for Donald’s appearance. Rye is a well-known far-leftist television mercenary who has the reputation of being rabidly anti-Trump and pro-Democratic Party. Rye did not shy far away from her well-known reputation during this interview.
Throughout the over one-hour interview, Angela Rye consistently read from sheets of paper to discredit and disparage Byron Donalds. Her attempts at stumbling the black conservative Donalds did not work. In fact, all of her attempts backfired more than anything else. Donalds came prepared with paperwork and an intimate knowledge of politics. This is something that Angela Rye couldn’t really match with her sheets of paper. The other hosts of the show, although critical of Donalds, could not say much to counter the good points that he was making because everything was fact-based without emotion.
