President Donald Trump pulled up to his rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin, in a large white garbage truck. The truck had a giant “Make America Great Again” sign on its side and American and Trump campaign flags on the front. Of course, Trump did not drive the vehicle. A driver pulled up, and Trump climbed pretty high stairs to get into the cab. Trump answered questions from the press from the passenger side of the vehicle. He wore a high-visibility orange and yellow vest over a shirt and tie with no coat. The optics of the visit were perfect, as it shows a billionaire humbling himself to the level of a regular person.
The garbage truck came about as a result of President Joe Biden referring to Trump supporters as “garbage” during a Zoom call campaign stop with Voto Latino. The White House has attempted to distance Biden from those comments by offering up a convoluted explanation of his statement. Still, the general public is not buying it, nor is President Trump.
