Hollywood Actor Alec Baldwin crashed his wife Hilaria’s Range Rover into a tree in Long Island with his brother Stephen in the passenger seat. The “Beetlejuice” actor says he was trying to avoid a large dump truck that cut him off. The reality appears to be slightly different. Dashcam footage released by the truck company shows perfectly normal driving from the truck driver. He was driving slowly through a parking lot and onto the road, which was a two-lane highway. One lane going one direction and one lane going the other. As the garbage truck began to pull over onto the shoulder or into a property, most likely to pick up trash, Baldwin is seen speeding to the right of the truck into a tree. This incident comes a little over a year after the conclusion of his trial for the “Rust” movie shooting.
Baldwin was practicing for a scene in the movie when he pointed a loaded gun at cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and director Joel Souza. The gun was supposed to have blank ammunition but it was loaded with live (lethal) ammunition. Both Hutchins and Souza were shot with Hutchins being killed. Charges of involuntary manslaughter against Baldwin were dropped but the armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, was sentenced to 18 months in prison for that same charge. The outcome of the case has long been seen as a rich and famous Hollywood actor literally getting away with murder because of who he is. Anyone else would have been served accountability, something that Baldwin does not appear very likely take much of.
