Former President Barack Obama lectured a group of black men over their lack of enthusiasm for Vice President Kamala Harris. Obama stated that some of us black men are finding excuses to stay home or vote for someone else due to Kamala being a woman. He also said that his enthusiasm for Kamala was nowhere near what it was for him. Apparently, the Democratic Party is not satisfied with getting around 90% of the black vote every year, regardless of who is running. Barack Obama felt the need to lecture black men, specifically at a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania field office, to “shame” them into having higher voter turnout. The former president’s comments were widely panned on television and social media by people who want Kamala to be a better candidate with better policies.
