Bill Nye, “The Science Guy,” says a vote for Kamala Harris is a vote in the proper direction to impact climate change. He made the controversial statement during an MSNBC live shot with anchor Jose Diaz-Balart. Nye, just like other television pundits, says climate change can be affected by political outcomes. Climate change arose during a discussion of recent hurricanes in the United States, Helene and Milton. Such a statement spits in the face of actual scientists. Hurricanes have always been a fact of life on the east coast of the United States. Many land formations in coastal areas of Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina were formed by hurricanes over thousands of years. To say that one person being elected to become a world leader will suddenly control the natural behavior of the planet is absurd.
