Several black Washington, D.C., residents have taken to the internet to express their opinion of President Donald Trump’s federal takeover of DC’s Police Department. The overwhelming majority of them support what Trump is doing due to the rampant crime and violence which mostly negatively impacts black people. Blacks are the largest group in DC proper at 43% of the population. The liberal narrative is that this is a racist thing that simply targets black men for harassment. This is simply untrue and comes from a place of ignorance and/or resentment for President Trump.
