A group of black Kamala Harris staffers say they were mistreated by leadership during the 2024 Presidential Campaign. Complaints echoed by political pundit Angela Rye are that black staffers were not given the resources necessary to reach out to other black and brown people. Some of these staffers resorted to having secret meetings at Dunkin’ Donuts to address the issue of minority voter outreach. These individuals, many of them very young people, are just now speaking out due to advice they got from senior staff members. One person in leadership allegedly told staffers that speaking out against Kamala’s campaign would damage their chances of working on other campaigns in the future.
