Bodycam footage and a Newsweek interview of the would-be Trump assassin, Ryan Wesley Routh, has been released. Routh was arrested 50 miles north of the Trump International Golf Club after sticking the barrel of his AK-47 through the chain-link fence surrounding the course. President Trump was golfing at the time. Routh was about 500 yards from the President before a Secret Service agent noticed the rifle in the fence and opened fire. Routh did not return fire and fled in his vehicle. An eyewitness saw him and took a picture that was given to the police.
