Alex Padilla, a Democratic Senator from California, was thrown out of a press conference featuring Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. Padilla is Mexican from Los Angeles which is where the presser was being held. Of course, the topic of the day is the issue with illegal aliens and the rioting that is happening in Los Angeles and other parts of California.
Padilla says he was just trying to ask Kristi Noem a question when Secret Service agents physically threw him out and handcuffed him. The video, however, tells a different story. Padilla lunged at Kristi Noem while she was speaking without identifying himself as a Senator. Even if he did say who he was beforehand, the motion was still threatening and Secret Service had no choice but to act in order to defend the HSI Secretary.
Democrats, of course, immediately hopped on the story as an example of what happens in Trump’s America to Hispanic people. The Los Angeles Times wrote a headline stating that Padilla’s only crime was being Mexican in MAGA America. This is clearly inflammatory and meant to aid in the Democrats plan to keep illegal aliens in the country and evade deportations.
