Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was confronted at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville over the idea of “MAGA” being a cult. The confrontation was part of an event that Kirk has been doing for years on college campuses nationwide. He sets up an area where students can gather around and ask him questions, one by one. The questions are often confrontational as liberal students seek to get a one-up on the conservative influencer. The questions were wide-ranging and interesting at UT. One of the students asked him if he considered “MAGA” to fit the definition of a cult. She was clearly of the mindset that MAGA is a cult. Toward the end of their brief back-and-forth, it appeared as if her mind had been changed.
