Liberal television pundit Van Jones interviewed a group of black voters about President Trump on CNN. Clips from the interview have gone viral, including one piece of the conversation where a woman was asked if she regretted her decision to vote for the President. She responded that she had absolutely no regrets. This answer was echoed by the other two black Americans present in the discussion. Van Jones appeared bewildered at certain points of the conversation but he did not lose his composure. Many people may feel the same way Van Jones felt after listening to the responses from these Trump voters because they aren’t used to seeing black people vote conservative. Others may not be surprised at all because they understand a movement of people leaving the Democratic party and their ideology behind is happening.
