President Donald Trump has agreed to debate Vice President Kamala Harris on September 4th in Pennsylvania. Trump proposes that the debate be broadcast on Fox News in front of a live audience. This comes on the heels of Kamala Harris accusing the former President of “running” from the previously scheduled debate with Joe Biden on September 10th on ABC. The logic from Harris’s camp is that Trump already agreed to that date, so it shouldn’t be an issue to show up. Trump’s camp says that he did not agree to debate Kamala Harris; he agreed to debate Joe Biden. It shouldn’t be an issue for a date & venue change if the other side changed out the candidate completely.
