Maegan Hall, the female officer in the Lavergne, Tennessee scandal, has spoken out to local media proclaiming that she is the victim. She is one of five officers fired by the town for being involved in a sex scandal. The police chief was also terminated for having inappropriate pictures of Hall on his phone.
Hall is suing Lavergne (a town next to Nashville) in Federal court over civil rights violations. Her allegations state that she was groomed into a lifestyle that she did not necessarily want to participate in. She says that the male officers and her superior (the police chief) sexually harassed her. Although she is not alleging any sexual assault, she does say that she was coerced in a way that she could not resist due to her fragile mental state.
Maegan Hall is married and had sexual relations with at least four other male officers on the force. Some, if not all, of these officers, were also married. No criminal charges have been filed and there is no indication that any accusations of that nature are coming soon. However, Maegan Hall is clearly not going down without a fight and she is intent on taking others down with her.
