Climate activist Greta Thunberg was arrested at a protest at a coal mine 90 miles from Dusseldorf, Germany. The 20-year-old micro-celebrity was seen in a now-viral picture being carried away by two police officers over muddy ground. There are other videos, however, that show Thunberg essentially posing for pictures with the same police. There are moments of relaxation and even some big smiles in the aforementioned videos. Her arrest does not appear to be anything actually necessary, as there were around 6,000 protesters at the event, many of whom should have also been arrested but weren’t.
