President Joe Biden has pardoned his son, Hunter Biden, in a decision that is not surprising to many. It is also not surprising that Joe, and many of his supporters on Capitol Hill and mainstream media parroted the narrative that he upholds the rule of law and would never pardon his son. This was yet another lie told to the American people from an administration that consistently pointed the finger at the other side and characterized them as liars.
Hunter was convicted of charges relating to illegal possession of a weapon, lying on a background check, and tax evasion. Joe Biden’s 54-year-old son lied about being a drug user while filling out a background check form. This is a clear violation of the Brady Act, a law that Joe Biden himself championed in 1993 while in the Senate. There is also the issue of tax evasion in which millions of dollars were unaccounted for from 2016 to 2019.
