White House Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre had a viral moment when she responded to a question about FEMA funding during a press conference. Peter Doocy of Fox News asked her about the financing of Hurricane relief that many Americans say they aren’t receiving. United States Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas recently appeared on television and stated that FEMA will run out of money before the end of this hurricane season. And that statement was made before Hurricane Milton had fully formed in the Gulf of Mexico. Despite this statement of desperation from Mayorkas, there does not appear to be an issue with funding foreign conflicts, although Congress is not in session. Doocy wanted to resolve this issue, which did not go over very well with Jean-Pierre.
Lebanon just got a ton of money from the United States. Migrants are also getting loads of taxpayer cash with reports of “temporary workers” getting “magic cards” with thousands of dollars of benefits loaded. The people affected by Hurricane Helene have been famously offered $750. This paltry sum is one time per household and must be applied for. Many hurricane victims say they have been denied these funds. Meanwhile, their entire house has washed away, and they have nowhere else to turn. Migrants and foreign nations don’t appear to have such problems.
