Actress KeKe Palmer has filed a restraining order on Darius Jackson who is ex-boyfriend and the father of her 8-month-old son, Leodis. The “NOPE” actress alleges that Jackson has been physically abusive to her on several different occasions throughout the past two years. The restraining order petition is public and contains images of what Palmer says is Jackson attacking her in their home. She has also filed for full custody of their son. This news comes just a few weeks after Palmer went viral for being serenaded by Usher.
The KeKe Palmer and Usher video apparently set off her then-boyfriend. He responded to the video on Twitter and was not too happy. His goal was apparently to try and publicly shame her for the revealing outfit she was wearing. This attempt did not go very well online. Many people accused him of trying to be controlling, which was most likely the case.
Keke Palmer is a world-famous actress who has been in the business since a child in her breakout role “Akeelah and the Bee.” She is probably a multi-millionaire at the young age of 30. Darius Jackson is, for all intents and purposes, a regular guy. He is not on the same level as KeKe socially or financially. The dynamic of a female “breadwinner” or “leader” is uncommon in heterosexual relationships and it can often cause problems.
