LGBT Realtor Helps Clients Flee Texas With Rainbow Underground Railroad

An LGBT realtor from Dallas, Texas helps clients flee the state with his “rainbow underground railroad.” The purpose is to help people “escape” the state’s “oppressive” red-state legislation and relocate to a blue state. During an interview with local news, the realtor, Paul Lewis, stated that Texas is becoming unwelcoming to people like himself. He cited recent and/or pending legislation as a reason why Texas is no longer for him. Lewis also mentioned the recent rash of gun violence in the state that makes him fear for his physical safety.

The term “rainbow underground railroad” is an obvious reference to the Underground Railroad that was necessary during slavery in the United States. The Underground Railroad was a series of homes, mostly owned by whites, that would serve as safe havens and hiding places for recently escaped slaves. This shameless attempt of the fringe LGBT community to hijack black American history is nothing new. The recent iteration of the pride flag has black and brown stripes on it.
