Nelly And Soulja Boy Respond To Critics After Performing For Trump

Rappers Nelly and Soulja Boy have responded to critics after performing at the Crypto Ball during President Donald Trump’s Inauguration weekend activities in Washington. Nelly, Soulja Boy, Rick Ross, and Snoop Dogg all performed for the event. Critics, of course, criticized them because they are black men performing at a Trump event. Rick Ross hasn’t said much to the public as of the writing of this article in response to the critics. Nelly and Soulja Boy, however, had a lot to say and they didn’t waste any time saying it.

Soulja Boy uploaded a video of himself essentially saying that Kamala nor President Obama have ever called him to do anything and that he doesn’t truly care what the critics have to say. Nelly said he respects the office of the President regardless of who it is. The St. Louis native star recording artist performed for Kamala during Biden’s time in office for a Juneteenth event. Nelly also, on a podcast with fellow rapper Willie D of the Geto Boys, ran down a few of the ways that President Biden would be the adversary to the black community instead of Trump.
