Dr. Anthony Fauci recently appeared on ABC with George Stephanopoulos and admitted to wearing masks indoors for the purposes of optics. Or, in the immortal words of Rand Paul, Fauci wore indoor masks for “political theater.” Fauci now says that he knows that transmitting the virus indoors is next to impossible among vaccinated people. The beleaguered doctor said that he did not want to send mixed signals because the CDC had not updated its guidelines. This is a complete reversal of what Fauci said back in March of this year to Rand Paul. Actually, Fauci’s comments today (May 18th, 2021) prove Rand Paul’s prior argument totally correct.
