Chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC) Ronna McDaniel has responded to GOP Presidential Candidate Vivek Ramaswamy calling for her resignation. Ramaswamy captured headlines after a stellar performance at the third GOP Primary Debate that was held in Miami, Florida. In his opening remarks, he attacked the moderator, the format of the debate, and McDaniel by name for not producing acceptable results. Many people agreed with Vivek’s stance on the state of the GOP, which he described as “losers.”
Ronna McDaniel has been chair of the organization since 2017 with a less-than-stellar record. Every election year since her appointment has yielded results for the Republican party that were below expectations. The most obvious year this took place was in 2022 when the highly-anticipated “red wave” in Congressional elections did not take place. In her response to Vivek on Fox News, McDaniel attempted to pass the buck to other entities with different functions aside from realizing that the buck stops with her since she is the chair of the RNC.
