The Trump Elon Musk Interview Broke The Internet In A Variety Of Ways

The Donald Trump & Elon Musk interview was streamed live on X (formerly Twitter), and the stream appeared to “break” the internet. Hundreds of millions have listened to the audio-only livestream on multiple platforms. The interview, more like a “talk” or discussion, was scheduled to start at 8pm Eastern on Monday, August 12, 2024. Technical difficulties prevented the event from starting on time. Elon Musk gave updates on “X” about the delay. He disclosed that X was being hit with “DDoS” attacks, which, in layman’s terms, is a form of cyberattack that impacts the ability of a website to function correctly. The DDoS attack was eventually thwarted, and the stream started at about 8:45pm Eastern.

Elon and Trump for about two hours, well into the night hours. They discussed various topics, including climate change and Kamala Harris’s incompetence. The mainstream media, of course, wrote a slew of negative headlines and articles about the event, saying that it was full of glitches and that Trump was rambling while slurring. The takes from the mainstream media are typical and expected. Their job is to create a narrative of failure around anything they disagree with, and in this case, their object of hate is President Donald Trump.
