The third GOP primary debate of 2023 occurred in Miami, Florida, and was televised by NBC. The candidates on stage included Vivek Ramaswamy, Nikki Haley, Tim Scott, Chris Christie, and Ron DeSantis. An obvious omission from the stage was presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump. He has boycotted all of the debates in 2023. The debate moderators were Hugh Hewitt, Lester Holt, and Kristen Welker. Various news outlets have given their opinion on the outcome of the debate. Much of the establishment media attempted to downplay just how well Vivek performed. The New York Post even said he had a poor showing. This is an absurd thing to say as Vivek Ramaswamy dominated the night. With every debate, Vivek has gotten stronger while the previous frontrunner of the runner-ups, Ron DeSantis, has gotten weaker and weaker.
