Tim Tebow has been given another shot at the NFL after a ten-year hiatus while Colin Kaepernick remains sidelined. A story about Tim Tebow returning to the NFL should just concern him and his new team. Mainstream media should be talking about how he’s been gone for so long and has returned at the near-geriatric age of 33. The story should also focus on his former University of Florida head football coach Urban Meyer now being the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars. It should be a story about how a Jacksonville-raised star has come back home… a full-circle feel-good story. Built for a movie. But instead, this story about Tim Tebow must also feature Colin Kaepernick because some people want to cry foul.
