President Donald Trump is being accused of making a “racist” comment on the “Bussin With The Boys” podcast, which is hosted by former NFL players Will Compton and Taylor Lewan. Trump spoke about a variety of issues on the long-form, 2-hour-long podcast. Since the hosts are former football players, they spoke about sports with the former President. Trump revealed that he played sports at the military prep academy he attended for high school.
When discussing his time playing tight end on his high school football team, he revealed that he didn’t like it too much. He said it was difficult, and he didn’t want to get hit by a guy who came from a bad neighborhood and lifted weights all day. Of course, the media attempted to misconstrue this as some sort of racial comment, which it wasn’t. Will Compton responded interestingly to The Washington Post contacting him for comment on the matter.
