A hospital nurse named Lucy Letby from Northern England, United Kingdom has been identified and convicted of being a serial killer. She took the lives of at least seven babies that were trusted to her care. Letby attempted to take the lives of at least ten other babies. Her atrocities took place between 2015 and 2016. She carried out her heinous acts by overfeeding the children with milk and also injecting them with saline or air. This was not simply neglect or incompetence. Police recovered physical evidence from Letby’s home, including a letter where she was graphic and unrepentant while speaking about her purposeful actions.
