The person behind the very popular Twitter account “LibsOfTikTok” was doxxed by Washington Post reporter Taylor Lorenz. WaPo published an article by Lorenz about LibsOfTikTok entitled “Meet the woman behind Libs of TikTok, secretly fueling the right’s outrage machine”. The article identified the person behind LibsOfTikTok by their full name. The person’s home address and work address were also originally published until the editors decided to remove that information. Lorenz physically visited the family members of the person behind LoTT to ask them questions about the account and its purpose. This type of behavior by Lorenz is completely out of bounds and ventures into the territory of harassment, bullying, and threatening.
