A black female politician named Nina Turner labeled Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan as “structural racism”. President Biden plans on canceling up to $10,000 of student loan debt for each borrower making a maximum of $125,000 of income. This proposal isn’t necessarily a done deal because it will most certainly face court challenges. Since it will cost money to implement, Congress should be involved but Biden has apparently bypassed them. Again, this will definitely face court challenges. The mere proposal of such a plan, however, has sparked reactions from all over the map. Some people are glad about the idea and some people aren’t. Some people, like Nina Turner, are downright upset and let their frustration be known.
