Candace Owens addressed the issue with Steven Crowder vs. Daily Wire on her own show and on Tim Pool’s “Timcast” podcast. Some described her performance as “unhinged” or “shilling for her employer” due to the passionate nature in which she articulated herself. Others said she hit the proverbial nail on the head when it comes to Crowder’s behavior, especially in relation to how he treated his so-called friend, CO-CEO of Daily Wire Jeremy Boreing.
Steven Crowder decided to record a phone call with Jeremy and release it as “evidence” in his court-of-public-opinion case against Daily Wire. The call was recorded one week ago, but contract negotiations stalled between Daily Wire and Crowder about two to three months ago. The audio was released in a video entitled “I didn’t want to do this…” on Crowder’s YouTube channel. This was clearly a planned move since he threatened to release “receipts” in the first video where he vaguely “outed” Daily Wire’s “shaky” offer sheet.
