A Toronto, Ontario, Canada hospital specifically for HIV/AIDS patients recently hosted its annual “pop-up” restaurant featuring chefs who all have HIV. The purpose of the three-day event at the Casey House is to raise awareness of the virus and to also raise money. Randy Davis, the host of “HIV Eatery”, gave an interview with local news media. He did not expressly say that this fundraising event caters to the LGBTQ community, but the artwork in the background of his video made that point crystal clear.
