An angry parent from the UK trashed the United States over the recent Virginia elementary school shooting. A six-year-old boy managed to bring a handgun to school and purposefully shoot his female teacher during some sort of argument. The boy is in police custody and the teacher is in stable condition at the hospital as of the most recent update. The shooting took place at Richneck Elementary School, located in suburban Newport News, Virginia.
News crews were on the scene after the shooting as parents came to collect their children. One angry mother, originally from the United Kingdom, was interviewed. She expressed anger at the issue of guns being so available in the United States, unlike her home country. She then went on to say that the only reason why she is in the US is that her husband is in the military and that she wouldn’t have chosen to live here.
