CNN’s Michael Smerconish had an insulting take on black voters over their opinion of Kamala Harris’s race. The context of the insult was a group of men in a barbershop discussing the upcoming Presidential election and politics in general. The co-host of the talk, a black man, asked other black men in the shop if they thought Kamala Harris was black. All of the men said no, or they at least questioned it.
After the clip aired on CNN, Smerconish gave his two cents from anecdotes from callers to his Sirius XM radio show. He says that callers, who self-identified as “African-American,” said that the men did not represent the masses of black people and that they were typical uninformed voters. Such a disclaimer would not be considered if the men had positive things to say about Kamala. The men were featured in a 45-minute video that first aired on CBS 21 out of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
