Elon Musk’s “DOGE” To Cut Government Spending By $2 Trillion

President Donald Trump has appointed Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy to the new Government agency called The Department of Government Efficiency, also known as “DOGE.” The purpose of the new agency is to cut Government spending by two trillion dollars. The United States Government currently spends over $7 trillion of taxpayer revenue every year. Senator Rand Paul famously does annual “Festivus” reports that highlight Government waste. Last year, Paul detected nearly one trillion dollars of outright wasteful spending, including nearly a million dollars to study the habits of quails.

Much of the left on television and politicians alike do not like the idea of DOGE. This is probably because such an agency would cut into their bottom line at home. The Washington D.C. metropolitan area is the richest place in the United States. There is no industry in this part of the country. All of the wealth comes from an insanely bloated Federal Government. Places like Fairfax County, Virginia are full of useless Government employees who often work from home. Cutting trillions of expenses will not harm anyone other than the person who studies quails or frog legs for a living.
