England Reports ZERO Cases Of The Flu In 2021

Public Health England reports zero cases of the flu in the entirety of the United Kingdom (or at least just England) in 2021. Hundreds of thousands of tests for The Virus were analyzed and none of them popped positive for the flu. Across the pond in the United States, there were only 165 hospitalizations for the flu from October 2020 to mid-February 2021 compared to 400,000 such cases in the same time frame of the prior year.

The near-eradication of the flu in the US and UK has been linked to social distancing, masks, and increased hand-washing. However, these same measures don’t seem to work all that well for The Virus. What does seem to work well for the virus is the World Health Organization who swooped in on Joe Biden’s inauguration day to change the way in which positive virus tests are recorded. Their change in methodology resulted in far fewer false positives, which drastically reduced the overall number of positive cases in both the United States and the United Kingdom. The US experienced a 77% drop in new virus cases since the WHO’s “quiet” decision.
