Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Interview Rapper Megan Thee Stallion

Hillary & Chelsea Clinton interviewed popular rapper Megan Thee Stallion as part of their tour highlighting “strong” women. The interview has been panned as “cringe” by critics due to the subject matter in the lyrics that they chose to highlight. The song “WAP” featuring rapper Cardi B is probably one of the most vulgar songs released to mainstream radio in recent years. The music video that goes with it is just as gross.

The former first lady and her daughter released a book back in 2019 entitled “The Book of Gutsy Women: Favorite Stories of Courage and Resilience”. Interviewing Megan Thee Stallion was one of many interviews they conducted for a series to compliment the book. The ultimate purpose of the tour isn’t quite clear. Maybe the ultimate goal is to boost book sales or to just create a television show for more revenue. The goal could also be to uplift Hillary Clinton’s profile to prepare her for a 2024 Presidential run.
