Sean “Diddy” Combs, also known as “Puff Daddy,” is being accused of sending private investigators to the homes of social media influencers. Conservative social media personality Amala Ekpunobi says the investigators were sent to two of her prior addresses. One of the people got her on the phone to alert her of the investigators’ presence. They were asking questions about who pays her to report information on Diddy. There was also a financial offer to incentivize her to give the “other side” of the story, meaning they wanted to pay for her silence.
Another influencer, comedic actor Samson Crouppen, recorded the investigators visiting his home. They had the same questions and talking points that the people who tried to find Amala Ekpunobi did. There is no direct evidence that Puff Daddy is behind this, but it fits into the allegations against him. Several people have accused the now-jailed music mogul of intimidation and manipulation tactics, with cash payoffs being one of the chief ways he achieves his goals. The intimidation factor comes from investigators showing up at someone’s front door to ask questions that could simply be asked in an email or zoom call.
